The Nunez Community College Practical Nursing program accepts test scores from the TABE, COMPASS, or ACT exams for admission to the PN program.

Minimum Admission Scores:

COMPASS: Reading – 82; Language – 60; Math – 44

TABE: Reading – 11.0; Language – 11.0; Math – 10.5

ACT: Reading – 19; Language – 17; Math –17

Challenge Exams for Anatomy and Physiology and/or Nutrition are required under the following circumstances:

• A&P or Nutrition courses will be older than four years at the time of entrance into the PN program.

• If a “C” was obtained in any required A&P course or Nutrition course (except those courses that were taken at Nunez from 2009 to 2010).
