Skilled Welders are always in high-demand, and work in Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing Industries at the Basic or Journeyman (Apprentice) levels.
Basic welders, like Tack Welders, fuse metals together with heat, while more skilled welders like Construction and Fitter Welders work in more complex environments, joining beams and other structures, or assembling and repairing piping systems, for example. Our Certificate of Technical Studies program gives our students the knowledge they need to start out in any of the many fields of welding.
The Certificate of Technical Studies provides students with the necessary skills to obtain entry-level positions which earn $30,555 to $44,898, annually.
