Financial Aid Officer
Nunez
Community College is seeking to fill the Financial Aid
Officer position with an individual with experience in the
administration of a higher education student financial
assistance office. Candidates must have a minimum of a
bachelor’s degree, but a master’s is preferred. Other
requirements include excellent written and oral
communication skills, computer skills, and willingness to
travel within the region for recruiting and registration
activities as they relate to financial aid.
The
College currently participates in Federal Title IV programs
including Pell, Direct Loans, FSEOG, and Federal Work Study;
in State programs including TOPS, GO Grant, and LEAP; and
some college-administered scholarships as well. The
Financial Aid Officer will also be required to assist with
the preparation of internal and external reports and to work
closely with the Bursar and Accounting offices in the
management of funds.
Salary
