Nunez is Monitoring Tropical Storm Isaias

Nunez Community College is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Isaias in the Gulf of Mexico. The College remains open and all classes, services, and operations continue as scheduled at this time. 

While it is too early to determine what impacts, if any, the storm may have on our area, Nunez leadership is actively tracking updates from the National Weather Service and National Hurricane Center and will continue to assess conditions as forecasts evolve. 

We encourage all students, faculty and staff to:

• Review personal and family emergency preparedness plans
• Monitor your Nunez email regularly
• Check the Nunez website and official social media channels for updates

At this time, no changes to the academic or operational schedule have been made. Any future decisions regarding campus operations will be communicated through official Nunez channels.

The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and community remains our highest priority. Additional updates will be provided as conditions warrant.
