(New Orleans) – The University of Holy Cross (UHC) and Nunez Community College have signed an agreement with the goal of making it easier for students to transfer into UHC’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree.

The agreement was announced and signed on October 30, 2019 by UHC President Dr. Stanton F. McNeely III and Nunez Chancellor Dr. Tina M. Tinney.

With the execution of the agreement, the newly instituted 2+2 program will allow students to complete the Associate of Applied Science – Business Administration Concentration and Accounting Concentration at Nunez and transfer credit hours to UHC for completion of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree.

The articulation agreement between UHC and NCC marks the first articulation agreement signed by Dr. McNeely during his tenure as President of UHC.

“The new articulation agreement with Nunez Community College provides current Nunez students with a solid foundation in business and accounting backgrounds the perfect opportunity to transfer to UHC,” said UHC President McNeely. “Our Business Administration and Accounting programs are committed to helping students transfer to our New Orleans campus as seamlessly as possible.”
