Nunez STEAM Division Announces Post-IDA Do-It-Yourself Workshops

The STEAM Division at Nunez Community College has added new workshops to its existing schedule to aid community members in their post-Hurricane Ida recovery efforts.

Each of the following will take place on the Nunez campus in Chalmette. STEAM is located in the Skillshop (Room A143) in the Kane Building on La Fontaine Street.

MORTGAGE AND REAL ESTATE WORKSHOP

Pam Lee of Gulf Coast Bank and Trust Company will share information on programs to help with renovations or the purchase of a new home. Lara Schultz of Berkshire and Hathaway Real Estate will also be present to answer questions to help navigate the real estate market.

SKILLSHOP MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP
One month membership use of Skillshop for $50. Membership requires safety training and access is scheduled by appointment. Request for use outside of posted hours will be based on availability
