Nunez Steam Division Offering Automotive Maintenance and Drone Workshops in January

The Steam Division at Nunez Community College will offer a Basics of Automotive Maintenance workshop and a Drone 1-Day Build workshop for kids in January.
 
The Basics of Automotive Maintenance workshop is free and will show participants how to check and maintain their automobile. Topics will include checking the oil, what various sensors indicate, tire pressure, and how to change a tire.  
 
The Automotive workshop will take place Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. outside the Kane Building on the Nunez Campus.  
 
The Drone 1 Day Build workshop costs $50 per participant and will teach students in grades 3-8 the basics of drone construction and flight.  Students will build and fly their own drone and take their drone home at the end of the workshop.  
 
The Drone workshop will take place Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kane Building.
