Nunez Students to Receive Free Course Texts and Supplies for Spring 2023

Follett Access Program Logo

A one-time program at Nunez Community College will provide students with all course texts and required supplies at no cost for the Spring 2023 semester.

The Follett Access program is a joint venture between Nunez Community College, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) and Follett in order to support student success. The program will provide students with all texts and supplies as specified on their course syllabi free of charge and by the first day of class.

“It’s common for a single textbook to cost significantly more than $100, which can be quite a financial burden on students who are taking several courses that all require similarly priced textbooks,” said Nunez Dean of Instruction Reggie Poché. “The Follett Access program seeks to curb this cost and help students realize significant savings while providing them with immediate, reliable, and equitable access to their course materials.”

All students enrolling for the spring semester at Nunez will be automatically enrolled in the program.
