The Adult Education Department at Nunez Community College will show off its range March 15 during an Open House and Mini-Conference.

Nunez Adult Ed. will welcome the business community, local government, educators, civic leaders, curious citizens and, of course, potential students to the Nunez campus to learn about the full range of services offered at Nunez.

The event will take place from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Kane Building on the Nunez campus.

Guests will receive four distinct presentations:

  • Program Introduction
  • High School Equivalency
  • English Language Acquisition
  • Career Preparation

Nunez Director of Adult Education Bradley Narcisse believes the Adult Education courses at Nunez have the potential to make a much larger contribution to the local economy if more people were aware they existed, and at no cost!

“We want the St. Bernard Parish and Greater New Orleans communities to see all the services that our free program can provide to our citizens,” said Narcisse. “Regardless of age, professional experience, or educational background, Nunez WorkReadyU can be the first step to opening doors to careers and life-changing opportunities.”
