Thousands of candy-hungry kiddos and their adults will descend upon the campus of Nunez Community College in Chalmette this Oct. 29 for the return of Trunk or Treat.
The entire community is invited to take part in an evening of free fun, food and sweets. The atmosphere is family friendly and kids will have a blast navigating the many trunks and tables set up by community members and organizations.
Trunk or Treat will be open to the public from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Parking will once again be concentrated at Arlene Meraux Elementary School, just to the north of the Nunez campus on Paris Road. School busses will shuttle families to and from Nunez and Meraux Elementary at regular intervals.
Free hot dogs and water will be served while supplies last. DJ Louis Lehr will provide spooky tunes. And many Nunez faculty and staff will be on hand to assist guests.
Please keep an eye on Nunez social media in the coming days for possible updates regarding Trunk or Treat.
