PIT Course Teaches Lift Equipment May 7-8

Powered Industrial Trucking teaches operation of four pieces of lift equipment.

The Powered Industrial Trucking course at Nunez will teach students to operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and telescopic forklifts.

The PIT (Powered Industrial Trucking) course teaches students how to safely operate machines that lift people and heavy materials at work sites. Completers earn certifications from JJ Keller and National Safety Compliance (OSHA).

Students will learn to operate different types of equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and telescopic forklifts.

The course meets May 7-8 on the Nunez campus for at least 16 hours of instruction. Cost is $600, but students may qualify for MJ Foster Promise funds.
