Fiber Optics

The Fiber Optics course teaches students how to install, test, and repair fiber optic cabling used for high‑speed data and communications systems. Students learn about safety, tools, cable preparation, splicing, connector installation, and how to use testing equipment. The course includes classroom lessons and hands‑on practice so students can build real skills. Successful completion prepares students to work in telecommunications, internet services, and related industries that use fiber optic technology.
