Machinist

This course teaches students how to cut and shape metal to make parts used in cars, airplanes, tools, and other equipment. Students learn to read blueprints, measure parts, and safely operate manual and computer-controlled machines, including CNC and 5-axis HAAS machines. Hands-on training helps students build accuracy and problem-solving skills. 

After completing the course, students may qualify for entry-level jobs such as machinist, CNC operator, machine operator, or manufacturing technician.
