Position Summary
The Part-Time Business Management Instructor is responsible for planning, delivering, and supporting high-quality instruction in the Business Management program. This position involves teaching courses in business principles, management strategies, and related subjects, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in program assessment activities. The instructor plays a vital role in preparing students for career advancement and success in business by fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment aligned with Nunez Community College’s mission and values.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Management or a Master’s degree in any field with 18 credit hours related to Business or Management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of business management principles and practices
  • Ability to effectively teach and engage students in both face-to-face and online environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum and assessment tools
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics
  • Commitment to the college’s mission and fostering an inclusive educational environment

Preferred Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Management
  • Certified online teacher

Preferred Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of college-level teaching experience
  • Experience with curriculum development and program assessment
  • Experience working with advisory boards or professional business networks
