The Foundation advances the mission and strategic priorities of Nunez Community College by fostering partnerships, securing and managing financial support, and promoting community engagement that enhance educational excellence and student success. The Foundation is dedicated to expanding access to higher education, supporting scholarships, innovative programs, and workforce development initiatives, and improving campus resources and facilities. Through philanthropy and collaboration with individuals, businesses, and organizations, the Foundation strengthens Nunez’s role as a catalyst for opportunity, innovation, and economic growth—empowering students and enriching the St. Bernard Parish community and the greater Southeast Louisiana region.

The Fill the Gap Fund provides financial assistance to students who fall just short of the cost to continue their studies at Nunez.

Foundation Board

The Nunez Community College Foundation Board of Directors provides vision, leadership, and advocacy to advance the mission of the College. Board members serve as ambassadors for Nunez, helping to secure financial support, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure responsible stewardship of Foundation resources. Their commitment and guidance help expand educational access, enrich student success, and drive regional workforce and economic growth.
