Course-Specific Fees

Some courses at Nunez Community College include course-specific fees in addition to standard tuition and mandatory fees. These fees are tied directly to the instructional costs of a particular course and are used only to support the learning experience in that class.

Course-specific fees may help cover expenses such as specialized equipment, consumable materials, laboratory supplies, software, simulations, safety gear, certification testing, or other instructional resources that students actively use as part of the course. These fees ensure that students receive hands-on, industry-aligned training that reflects real-world expectations in their field of study.

All course-specific fees are reviewed and approved through an institutional process to ensure they are necessary, reasonable, and directly related to course instruction. Fees are assessed only for courses where additional costs are required beyond standard classroom instruction.
