Position: Coordinator of Instruction

Reports To: Dean of Instruction
Position Summary
The Coordinator of Instruction assists the Director of Academic Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships in providing innovative vision and leadership for Academics, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and other emerging workforce-focused fields while cultivating a caring learning environment centered on student success. The Coordinator of Instruction plans, organizes, administers, and evaluates programs, projects, and activities of the division and coordinates Nunez Community College's dual enrollment program under the supervision of Director of Academic Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships and the Dean of Instruction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison between partnering school site administrators and the College's division directors to enroll dual enrollment and special population students in their courses.
- Performs dual enrollment billing procedures for state entities.
- Collaborates with the Business office to ensure billing accuracy.
- Manage the scheduling and directing the promotion of leisure courses.
- Assists Director of Academic Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships with maintaining relationships with leaders in private and public sectors by attending recruiting events at surrounding high schools, colleges, and universities.
- Serves as a source of support for dual enrollment students.
- Supports the College's overall enrollment goals by implementing strategies that meet the needs of high school administrators and complies with the college's internal policies and administrative procedures to fulfill objectives, meet timelines, and complete outreach plans for targeted schools and student populations.
- Provide LMS and SIS tech support to students and faculty.
- Assumes special responsibilities on assignment from the Director of Academic Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships, the Dean of Instruction, the Vice Chancellor for Education, Training and Student Success, or the Chancellor.
Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications
Education/Licensure
- Master’s Degree.
Experience
- At least two years of experience in higher education administration or teaching.
